AcreMath Terms of Service

Effective date: October 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Juniper North LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as AcreMath ("AcreMath," "we," "us"), the operator of AcreMath at https://acremath.app (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT: SECTION 17 CONTAINS AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND A CLASS-ACTION WAIVER. UNLESS YOU OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 17.7, MOST DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND US WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION OR IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT, NOT BY A JUDGE OR JURY, AND YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO BRING OR JOIN A CLASS ACTION.

1. What AcreMath is

AcreMath is a land underwriting tool for properties in the United States. It helps you organize deals, run calculations, and look up free public data about a parcel. Everything AcreMath produces is an estimate. It is a starting point for your own research, not a conclusion.

2. Not professional advice

AcreMath does not provide legal, tax, financial, or appraisal advice. Outputs are not an appraisal, survey, title report, environmental assessment, wetland or flood determination, or investment recommendation. We are not your lawyer, accountant, appraiser, broker, or financial adviser. Before you buy, sell, finance, build on, or price land, verify the facts yourself and consult qualified professionals licensed in the relevant state.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is not directed to children.
  • Account sign-in is offered only if and when we make it available. We plan to offer Google sign-in first, with authentication handled through our provider Supabase. We will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy before adding any other sign-in method.
  • If you use a sign-in provider, your use of it is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for a provider's service, outages, or decisions about your account with them.
  • Keep your sign-in accounts secure. You are responsible for activity under your AcreMath account. Tell us promptly at support@acremath.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Free trial

  • New users get a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial.
  • When the trial ends, access to paid features stops unless you choose a paid plan. We will not charge you automatically at the end of the trial, because we do not have a payment method on file.
  • One trial per person or organization. We may end a trial early for abuse of these Terms.

5. Plans, payment, and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

  • Prices: $12 per month (Monthly plan) or $120 per year (Annual plan), in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout. The price you will pay, the billing frequency, and the renewal terms are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Paddle's terms: When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and its Refund Policy as they relate to the transaction. Paddle processes your payment and issues your receipts. We never receive or store your full card details. Paddle's Buyer Terms govern your relationship with Paddle; these Terms govern your relationship with us.
  • Billing questions: For payment, invoice, or receipt questions you can contact Paddle through the link in your receipt email or at https://paddle.net. You can also email us at support@acremath.app and we will help.

6. Automatic renewal and cancellation

IMPORTANT: PAID PLANS RENEW AUTOMATICALLY UNTIL YOU CANCEL.

  • Monthly plan: renews every month at $12 (plus applicable tax), charged to your payment method on file with Paddle on each renewal date, until you cancel.
  • Annual plan: renews every year at $120 (plus applicable tax), charged on each annual renewal date, until you cancel.
  • By choosing a paid plan and checking the consent box at checkout, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis as described above.
  • How to cancel (online, any time): open the Paddle customer portal through the "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle receipt or subscription confirmation email, or at paddle.net, and select "Cancel subscription." While billing is available, you can also cancel from AcreMath: open Account Settings and select "Cancel subscription," which takes you to the Paddle customer portal. You can also email support@acremath.app from the email address used to purchase. You will not need to call anyone or speak to a retention agent to cancel.
  • Effect of cancellation: cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling does not by itself give you a refund; see section 7.
  • Reminders: For Annual plans, we or Paddle will email you a renewal reminder stating the price, the renewal date, and how to cancel, at the time required by the law where you live. For California residents, it arrives at least 15 days and no more than 45 days before each renewal. We will also send an annual reminder of your subscription, including the charges and how to cancel, where required by law.
  • Price changes: We will email you notice of any price change 30 days before it applies to you, with instructions on how to cancel. If required by law, we will ask for your consent first. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

7. Refund policy

  • 14-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied, request a refund within 14 days after your first paid charge (Monthly or Annual) and you will receive a full refund of that charge.
  • After that: later charges, including monthly and annual renewal charges, are non-refundable, and we do not give prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except as stated in sections 12 and 13 or where the law or Paddle's policies require otherwise. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • How to request: email support@acremath.app or contact Paddle at https://paddle.net. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Access to paid features ends when a refund is issued.
  • Your other rights: This policy does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights you have under applicable law, or any additional refund Paddle grants under its own Refund Policy or Buyer Terms, including for technical problems or product defects. If those give you more rights, the greater rights apply. Refunds may be refused in cases of fraud or refund abuse.

8. Your deals and content

  • You own the information you enter (your "Content"). You give us permission to store, process, and display your Content only as needed to run the Service for you.
  • Storage today: your deals are saved in your own web browser (local storage) on your device. They are not backed up by us. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser or device, or private browsing can permanently delete them. Please export or keep your own copies.
  • Planned cloud storage: when we introduce cloud storage (through our provider Supabase), your deals may be stored on our servers so they sync across devices. We will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before that happens.
  • You are responsible for having the right to enter any Content you provide.

9. Public data sources, attribution, and accuracy

AcreMath displays free public data and maps from the third-party sources below. We name each source to identify where the data comes from.

  • FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL): flood hazard zones from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
  • USFWS National Wetlands Inventory (NWI): wetlands data from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. NWI maps wetlands using a biological definition. The Service states that "there is no attempt to define the limits of proprietary jurisdiction of any federal, state, or local government, or to establish the geographical scope of the regulatory programs of government agencies."
  • USDA NRCS SSURGO, through Soil Data Access: Soil Survey Staff, Natural Resources Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture. Soil Survey Geographic (SSURGO) Database. Available online at https://sdmdataaccess.sc.egov.usda.gov. Accessed on the date of your lookup.
  • EPA Facility Registry Service (FRS): facility records from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
  • USFWS Critical Habitat (final and proposed): critical habitat boundaries from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The legally effective designations are those published in the Federal Register and in Title 50 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP), through the Elevation Point Query Service: 3DEP elevation data courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey.
  • U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder: address matching from the U.S. Census Bureau. County names come from the Census Bureau's 2020 county list. This product uses the Census Bureau Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau.
  • Map tiles: OpenFreeMap © OpenMapTiles. Map data from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL); see https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright. This attribution also appears on the map.

No endorsement. None of these agencies or projects created, reviewed, endorses, or certifies AcreMath, and naming them does not imply any affiliation. Data from U.S. federal agencies is generally a work of the U.S. Government and is not subject to U.S. copyright. OpenStreetMap data remains subject to the ODbL.

Accuracy. We do not create or control this data. It may be incomplete, out of date, low resolution, inaccurate for a specific parcel, or temporarily unavailable. Map boundaries are approximate. For example, a flood or wetland layer is not an official flood determination or wetland delineation for a property. Always confirm with the source agency, local officials, a surveyor, or another qualified professional.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use the Service to discriminate in housing or lending, or for deceptive or fraudulent purposes;
  • scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data, or use bots or automated access, except through features we provide;
  • overload, probe, or attack the Service, bypass security, rate limits, or Cloudflare Turnstile checks, or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it;
  • share your account, or create accounts to get repeated free trials;
  • upload malware or content that infringes someone else's rights or that you have no right to share;
  • present AcreMath outputs to others as an appraisal, professional opinion, or official determination.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, calculations, and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms while your account is in good standing. Public data remains subject to its source's terms. If you send feedback (for example, to feedback@acremath.app), we may use it without obligation to you.

12. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features. If we remove a material paid feature during a period you already paid for, you may cancel and request a prorated refund for the unused time.

13. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time (see section 6).
  • We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, fail to pay, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we will give notice first. If we end the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid amount for unused time.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 2, 9, 11, and 14–19) continue after termination.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA SAVED IN YOUR BROWSER WILL BE PRESERVED. Some states do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DEALS, INVESTMENT LOSSES, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE BASED ON IT; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR OUR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE. Some states do not allow these exclusions or limits, so some of them may not apply to you, and in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

16. Indemnity

If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable legal fees, arising from your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the law. This section does not apply to consumers where state law prohibits it.

17. Disputes: informal resolution, small claims, and arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS HOW CLAIMS ARE RESOLVED.

17.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq. (the "FAA"), governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section 17. This does not take away any protections you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the state where you live.

17.2 Talk to us first (informal resolution). Before either of us starts a small claims case or an arbitration, the party with the claim must send the other a written notice of the dispute. If you have a claim, email the notice to support@acremath.app with the subject "Dispute Notice." If we have a claim, we will email the notice to the email address on your account. The notice must include the sender's name, the email address associated with the account, a description of the dispute, and the relief requested. For 30 days after the notice is received, we will both try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally, and on request either of us will make time for a call or video meeting. Completing this process is a condition to starting a small claims case or arbitration. Any statute of limitations and any filing-fee deadline is paused (tolled) for those 30 days.

17.3 Small claims court. If the dispute is not resolved, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration, as long as the claim is within that court's jurisdiction and stays in that court on an individual basis. You may bring your claim in the small claims court for the county where you live, or in a small claims court in Wyoming. If either party files an arbitration for a claim that qualifies for small claims court, the other party may, before an arbitrator is appointed, elect to have that claim decided in small claims court instead.

17.4 Binding individual arbitration. Except for claims brought in small claims court under section 17.3 and the exceptions in section 17.6, any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and us arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, your subscription, or our relationship (including claims that arose before you accepted these Terms, and questions about the existence, scope, or validity of this arbitration agreement, other than the questions reserved for a court in section 17.5) will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration.

  • Provider and rules. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and, where they apply, its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules, in effect when the arbitration is filed, as modified by this section 17. The rules and filing forms are available at https://www.adr.org or by calling the AAA. If the AAA is unavailable or declines to administer the arbitration, the parties will agree on another administrator, or a court will appoint one under 9 U.S.C. § 5.
  • One neutral arbitrator. A single arbitrator will decide the dispute. The arbitrator must follow these Terms and applicable law, and may award any individual relief that a court could award, including damages, injunctive relief, and declaratory relief, but only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent needed to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim.
  • Seat and hearings. The arbitration is seated in Wyoming. You do not have to travel. If the total of all claims is $25,000 or less, the arbitration will be decided on written submissions (documents only) unless the arbitrator decides a hearing is needed or both parties agree to a hearing. Any hearing will be held by video or telephone, unless the arbitrator decides an in-person hearing is necessary, in which case it will be held in the county where you live or at another location we both agree on.
  • Fees. If you start an arbitration, we will pay any AAA filing fee you are charged to the extent it exceeds the filing fee you would have paid to file your claim in the court of general jurisdiction in the county where you live. We will also pay all other AAA administrative fees and all arbitrator compensation, except that if the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous or brought for an improper purpose, fees will be allocated under the AAA rules. If we start an arbitration, we will pay all AAA fees and arbitrator compensation. Each party pays its own attorneys' fees and costs unless the arbitrator awards them under applicable law. If you qualify for a fee waiver under applicable law or the AAA rules, that waiver applies.
  • Award. The arbitrator will issue a written decision explaining the essential findings and conclusions. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. An award has no effect on any other dispute or party.

17.5 Class-action waiver. YOU AND WE EACH AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, IN ARBITRATION OR IN COURT. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any class, collective, or representative proceeding, except as the AAA's Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules permit for administering individual cases. A court, not an arbitrator, decides any dispute about the validity, scope, or enforceability of this section 17.5. If a court finally decides that this section 17.5 is unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief (such as a request for public injunctive relief), then that claim or request for relief, and only that claim or request for relief, will be severed from the arbitration and may be brought in court under section 17.8, and it will be stayed until the individual claims in arbitration are decided. In no case will a class or representative arbitration take place.

17.6 Exceptions for intellectual property and urgent injunctive relief. Either party may bring, in a court under section 17.8, (a) an individual claim to protect or enforce that party's copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or patents, or to stop unauthorized access to or misuse of the Service; and (b) an individual request for temporary or preliminary injunctive relief to prevent irreparable harm while an arbitration is pending. Filing such a claim does not waive the right to arbitrate any other dispute.

17.7 Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@acremath.app within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out." Include your name, the email address associated with your account, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. We will confirm receipt by email. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms or any other agreement, including Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you opt out, or if this arbitration agreement does not apply to a dispute, the dispute will be resolved in court under section 17.8, and the class-action waiver in section 17.5 will not apply to you.

17.8 Courts. Any claim that is not arbitrated (because of section 17.3, 17.5, 17.6, or 17.7, or because the arbitration agreement is found not to apply) must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of the county where you live. Both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts for that purpose.

17.9 Changes to this section. If we make a material change to this section 17, the change will not apply to any dispute for which a notice under section 17.2 was already sent. You may reject the change by emailing support@acremath.app within 30 days after the change takes effect, and in that case the prior version of this section 17 will continue to apply to you.

17.10 Severability of this section. Except as stated in section 17.5, if any part of this section 17 is found unenforceable, that part will be severed and the rest of this section 17 will remain in effect.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before it takes effect. Changes do not apply to disputes that arose before the change, and changes to section 17 are also subject to section 17.9. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

19. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Paddle's terms for your transaction, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, subject to section 17.5. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We may send you notices by email to the address on your account, and you may send notices to us at support@acremath.app; email notices satisfy any requirement that a notice be in writing. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
